  • AIMS: The Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Finance aims to train future professionals in Accountancy, Finance, Banking and Insurance in an international and European context. It follows a multidisciplinary approach and it will enable future graduates to work as accountants, financial managers and consultants in enterprises, banks and insurance companies. Other career opportunities include auditing, becoming a broker or an assets management expert. The Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Finance also opens the path to obtaining national and international certificates in Accounting, Auditing and Finance necessary to engage in certain professions.
     
  • SYLLABUS: The Degree in Accounting & Finance lasts four years and comprises 240 credits (ECTS). The Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Finance syllabus provides a clear structure according to the European Higher Education Area: all courses are taught during one semester and all count 6 credits ECTS, which means that this degree will be recognised in all EU countries and graduates will have excellent opportunities to enter the international labour market.
     
  • COURSES IN ENGLISH: A distinctive feature of our Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Finance is that we also offer the possibility to learn in English eight out of ten courses.
    Students who wish to benefit from the lessons in English must choose at least one course in English each term. Therefore students will have the option to study in English from one to four courses during each of the two semesters.
     
  • CAREER OPPORTUNITIES. Accounting & Finance graduates will be able to: - Design accounting information systems for budget management, planning, costs management or strategic management
    - Perform internal and external audits according to the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and CSR
    - Obtain Spanish professional certifications (ROAC) and international certifications (CFA, EFA, CIA)
    - Value company assets and work as an investments advisor
    - Hold management positions in accounting, finance, banking and insurance.

    In addition Accounting & Finance graduates have access to a broad range of postgraduate studies. The Universidad Pablo de Olavide offers various specialisation MBA courses in different areas: International Business, Human Resources, International Finance, and Accounting and Management Control. In addition, students can pursue a Master’s Degree in Business Management and Administration Research, which opens the path to Doctoral studies.
