Abstract

The transept of the Cordoba´'s Cathedral, was one of the most controversial buildings in the 16th Century. The need to worship the prestige, the history of this building, which was completed in the next century, had a formal restatement and all theoretical and symbolic by the influence of a circle of humanists. Pablo de Céspedes stresses here, cathedral´s prebendary, humanist, theorist, painter and architect.
