Christiane Limbach

Cuento con una larga trayectoria de investigación en el ámbito de la traducción accesible dentro de la cual también realicé mi tesis doctoral en la Universidad de Granada (Título de Doctor obtenido en octubre de 2012 con la máxima calificación). He sido miembro del grupo de investigación HUM 770 Aula de investigación del texto multimedia: la traducción audiovisual (desde el 2008 hasta el 2015) coordinado por la investigadora principal Catalina Jiménez. He participado a tiempo completo en dos proyectos de I+D (FFI-2010-16142 dotado por el Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad con 42 350 EUR y SEJ-2006-01829/PSIC dotado con 60 000 EUR por el Ministerio de Educación y Ciencia) y de un proyecto de excelencia (P07-ESJ02660 dotado por la Junta de Andalucía con 219 688 EUR).

Fui contratada dos veces por convocatoria pública como investigadora en el proyecto de investigación PRA2 (Plataforma de Recursos Audiovisuales Accesibles. Investigación, formación y profesionalización, financiado por el Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad con 42 350 EUR).

Asimismo, he participado en cuatro proyectos de innovación docente coordinando dos de ellos. Los resultados de estas investigaciones han sido publicados en numerosas publicaciones, entre las que destacan sobre todo los capítulos de libro publicados en las editoriales Comares, Peter Lang y Tragacanto. Esta última se dedica hace algunos años a la publicación de resultados en esta novedosa línea de investigación con su colección Traducción accesible

Desde el 2015 formo parte del grupo de investigación HUM-995 COMINTRAD con la investigadora principal Ana Medina. A dicho grupo aporto mi experiencia investigadora en el ámbito de traducción accesible, así como mis nuevos avances de investigación en el campo de interpretación, una segunda línea de investigación que inicié hace unos años. He formado parte del Comité Organizador en todas las ediciones de las Jornadas Inclutrad dedicadas a la relación entre traducción, inclusión y discapacidad. En el curso 2016-17 he coordinado el proyecto de innovación docente en el que se ha implementado una metodología socio-constructivista basada en el desarrollo de un encargo de interpretación de principio a fin por los alumnos. En el curso 2019-20 he vuelto a coordinar otro proyecto de innovación docente aplicando los últimos hallazgos de las Ciencias Cognitivas a las clases de interpretación y entrelazando ellas con las clases de idioma. El producto final del proyecto de innovación docente han sido seis vídeos con interpretación que sirven para el autoaprendizaje. 

En cuanto a la docencia, cabe destacar que he impartido numerosas asignaturas en materias diversas (lengua alemana, traducción inversa del español al alemán, interpretación, traducción audiovisual, etc.) en distintos grados tanto en la Universidad Pablo de Olavide como en la Universidad de Sevilla. Asimismo, he impartido clases en el Máster Universitario en Traducción e Interculturalidad (MUENTI) en la US durante tres cursos académicos (2013-2016). Desde el año 2013 soy profesora de la Universidad Pablo de Olavide. En 2019 participé como docente en el Máster Universitario en Comunicación Internacional, Traducción e Interpretación de esta misma universidad como profesora de la asignatura Accesibilidad a los Medios y desde ese mismo año imparto clases de la asignatura Interpretación Consecutiva y Simultánea de este mismo máster. Además, llevo desde el año 2018 impartiendo docencia en el Experto en Accesibilidad a la Comunicación y a los Contenidos Culturales ofrecido por el Instituto de Estudios Lingüísticos y Traducción (ISTRAD) en Sevilla.

Desde el año 2015, he realizado varias estancias de investigación y de docencia tanto en Alemania (Düsseldorf, Colonia y Heidelberg) como en Polonia (Poznan) investigando sobre la traducción accesible y ofreciendo docencia en el ámbito de la interpretación (especialmente en la interpretación bilateral en la combinación lingüística español-alemán) y traducción audiovisual. 

Respecto a la gestión académica, cuento con una larga trayectoria de participación en diversas comisiones, de tutorización de alumnos Tándem y alumnos Erasmus. Desde el año 2013 dirijo Trabajos fin de grado y de máster y en el año 2017 obtuve la Mención de excelencia docente en el programa Docentia

En el año 2010 fui nombrada Traductora/Intérprete Jurada de Alemán por el Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores, Unión Europea y Cooperación y trabajo también como coeditora en la revista científica Magazin (ISSN 1136-677X) y como revisora de las revistas científicas MonTI (ISSN 1889 – 4178) y Glottodidactica (ISSN 0072 – 4769).
